Ruth Pepper

I set up Lancashire Speech Therapy to provide clinical speech and language services to both adults and kids either in my lovely clinic in Lostock hall or online via teletherapy. Alongside my professional qualifications in Speech and Language Therapy, I am qualified in a range of approaches including registration as a Hanen Clinician (Language Delay). ( The Hanen Centre - Member Profile )and the Lee Silverman Voice Technique (LSVT adults and kids) LSVT Clinicial Details
I love being a speech and language therapist but was not always one, before this I was a registered nurse and worked in forensic psychology. I have qualifications in nursing, an MSc. Forensic Psychology, MSc. Speech and Languge Therapy, stammering therapy counselling, CBT, makaton and British Sign Language.
When not running my clinic I spend time volunteering helping others with speech and language issues. I am the CEO of Speech Apraxia UK. This is a global organisation specialising in speech apraxia, a rare speech condition.

If you are facing financial difficulties, please do still get in contact and we can discuss options (such as remote therapy, use of apps/programmes to reduce direct SLT costs, 30 minute therapy sessions, etc.) I know having speech and language needs can significantly impact finances, and I believe you should still be able to access support where you need it.
Half or full day sessions at care homes for multiple clients: cost on request.
Training packages: cost on request.
